Introduction

Previously, honours for long-standing members could be submitted in two ways. There was the form for applying for honours for long-standing members. And then there is the ZMI client for clubs, via which honours for long-standing members can also be applied for – incidentally, in addition to many other honours.

Anyone who has read very carefully will have guessed something. One option will no longer be available from 01.01.2025. This is the application for honours for long-standing members via the PDF form (some even still have an image file that can be used year after year for the applications).

The future application for honours for long-standing members via the ZMI client for clubs also offers various advantages. In addition to plausibility checks, all honours applied for and approved to date can be viewed. The ordering of the honours and certificates can be tracked at any time via the ZMI client, and the printing of the certificates can also be initiated from the ZMI client for the respective honour.

Applying for honours for long-standing members via the ZMI client offers advantages for everyone involved, and so we have taken another small step towards the digitalisation of these processes.

Anyone who has not yet worked with the honours module of the ZMI client for clubs should read the documentation in the following section. There are only a few chapters to read to use the honours module in the ZMI client. In most cases, nothing needs to be done and the honours can be applied for immediately.
