Pupils and young people aged 8 to 20 were able to take part in the district ranking shoot from October to March. October to February was held as a postal competition. The age of the shooters was indicated, and whether the 40 shots were taken from a rest or freehand. The competition was scored in a mixed class. To make the scoring reasonably fair, different factors were applied depending on the age group and whether the shots were taken from a rest or freehand.
Out of an original 15 registered shooters, 9 competed in the final competition in Neuenbürg. The 3 best shooters, the sum of the 6 competitions counting, received medals, certificates, and an Amazon voucher.
In addition, Sonja Ackermann, who had initiated this ranking, donated a trophy for the winner. The remaining shooters received a certificate of achievement.
Everyone was enthusiastic and was in favour of definitely holding this competition again this year.
