Contributions and direct debits
I will collect the last invoices by 18.12.2023. There will definitely be a member statement for newly registered members. All sports statements available to me have been settled and the clubs have received the statements. The ID cards will also be generated by the BSSB on 15.12.2023 and sent to me. These will be sent by me to the clubs in the post this year.
The next shooter ID cards are expected to be produced by the BSSB at the end of January 2024.
BSSB annual contributions 2024
The BSSB will retain the direct debiting of BSSB annual contributions in March for the future, which was introduced due to Corona. The schedule is as follows:
- Creation of club invoices on 12 March 2024 and submission of direct debits
- Direct debiting of BSSB club contributions on 22 March 2024
- Direct debiting of club contributions by the BSSB on 31 March 2024 (due to Easter, probably already on 28 March 2024)
I ask all clubs to ensure sufficient funds in their accounts. The amount of the BSSB annual contributions can be viewed in the ZMI and with appropriate permissions via the menu item Billing | Membership Notification Preview. The definitive BSSB annual contribution will be available from the end of January 2024 due to possible corrections in memberships.
Direct debit returns only lead to unnecessary additional costs and effort. If payment difficulties are expected that could arise from the BSSB annual contributions, I ask you to contact me in good time.
Memberships and first club changes
Late registrations for memberships for the club year 2023
New members with an entry date in 2023 can only be registered and reported until 03.01.2024. Submissions after 03.01.2024 are no longer possible for the membership year 2023 and must be registered with an entry date for the year 2024. Based on these late registrations, an invoice will be created and is expected to be sent on 05.01.2024.
Resignations of members for the year 2023
Resignations for memberships as of 31.12.2023 can only be reported until 14.01.2024. Member resignations after 14.01.2024 can only be registered as of 31.12.2024. No exceptions can be made. These members will also be included in the calculation of the BSSB annual contributions.
Applications for first club change as of 01.01.2024
Please send the applications for the initial club change exclusively in full (signed application by member and marksman master with club stamp) to me. Shooting passes or loss reports for shooting passes no longer need to be sent to me. Please destroy the passes within the clubs.
The application for the initial club change can also be submitted by e-mail if the scanned application is attached as a legible attachment. This is also possible for all amendment applications, e.g. in case of loss or change of a shooting pass.
The applications for the initial club change can already be sent to me. The submission deadline for applications for the initial club change ends on 09.01.2024 (by post) or on 13.01.2024 by e-mail.
Applications received by me after this date or incompletely filled out or signed will be rejected.
For all applications for initial club change, a 6-month ban from the sporting disciplines of the new initial club applies. Please also note the examples regarding bans for initial club change. The new shooting passes will therefore only be produced and issued at the beginning of July 2024.
Second club members without an initial club from 01.01.2024
For members who have terminated their initial club as of 31.12.2023 but have reported valid second memberships, a new initial club must be assigned. Technically, this is done by the previous second club becoming the new initial club at the turn of the year 2023/2024. If a member has multiple second club entries, the second club with which the member has had their membership registered for the longest becomes the new initial club.
Should such cases occur, you will be informed via the ZMI client in the coming weeks.
A separate application for initial club change, as was the case in the past, is no longer required. After the blocking period expires, the new shooting pass will be automatically produced in mid-July 2024.
Increasing costs for shooting passes in case of damage
The costs for reissuing shooting passes remain €10. Shooting passes that need to be reissued due to damage will also cost €10 in the future (previously, the price here was 50% of the regular cost). Shooting passes for members in the Schüler, Jugend, and Junioren classes remain free of charge.
Use of digital shooting pass at mein.bssb.de
Please remind your members again and again to use the digital shooter's pass at https://mein.bssb.de/. Registration and use are free of charge for the member. The presentation of the digital shooter's pass is equivalent to the physical shooter's pass. And additionally, the digital shooter's pass is an extra security measure to verify a valid membership in a Bavarian shooting club.
Furthermore, via the access at https://mein.bssb.de/, the member can
- make start or discipline changes for second clubs
- order a new physical shooter's pass (the member must bear the costs themselves in this case)
- change personal data – the date of birth can only be changed here via e-mail
- view seminars and licenses
