On December 7th, the ladies' Christmas party took place. The hostesses were once again the Dormitz ladies with Silke Braun and her team. After the welcome, the appealing warm buffet, which Renate Aigner-Henschel had ordered from a caterer, was immediately opened. There was something for everyone.
After "Leise rieselt der Schnee" (Gently falls the snow), District Ladies' Leader Harald Popp presented two awards: Tanja Leitoch and Marianne Link from SSG Erlangen-Büchenbach received the MSB Ladies' Pin in Bronze.
Afterwards, Renate raffled off two special prizes: ladies' wristwatches donated by jeweller Savran. Karin Finzel from KPHSG Erlangen and Hanne Baumert from SF Dormitz were lucky winners.
Afterwards, the Dormitz ladies surprised with a dessert buffet. The last gaps were filled with sweet creams and cakes.
After "O du fröhliche" (O joyous night), it was finally time for Secret Santa. Renate introduced us to the rules of "Räuberwichteln" (Robber Secret Santa). This took considerably longer than without the robber element. In the end, very few people took home the gift they had unwrapped. Not everyone was happy about it, but most enjoyed this way of doing Secret Santa and headed home in good spirits.
