Recommendations for safe blank cartridge shooting

Böllerschießen is a firmly established custom that excites many people. In Bavaria alone, over 700 clubs with around 10,000 active members maintain this custom, which dates back to the 14th/15th century. From warding off demons and spirits to accompanying special occasions and major festivals: Böllern is a lived tradition in Bavaria. Our Böllerschützinnen and Böllerschützen carry out this tradition with great care. Because handling explosives involves great responsibility. Explosives law therefore places high demands on the suitability, reliability, and expertise of these individuals. The aim is to protect people, the environment, and property, as well as to prevent accidents or misuse.
